Overview

Prosthodontics Olympics is a competition which aims to foster creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking while allowing participants to showcase their knowledge and skills in the field of dental prosthodontics. Whether you’re a student, a future prosthodontist, or a specialist, this competition will put your abilities to the test in a series of exciting challenges.

Description:

Prosthodontics Olympics consists of 4 teams in each category (Junior Prosthodontics Olympics award, and Senior Prosthodontics Olympics award).
Prosthodontics Olympics consists of 3 rounds; Pre-Prosthodontics Olympics Qualification, Semi-final, and final rounds.

The Pre-Prosthodontics Olympics Qualification will be online before the conference if more than 4 teams participated in Prosthodontics Olympics in each category.
Semi-final and final rounds will be onsite during the conference

Eligibility:

Team members must be SPS Active Members by Septmber 2025.

Each team will consists of 4 members.

Participant may be a Dental Student, Intern, General Dentist, Specialists, Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistants, or Dental Laboratory Technicians.

Dental students, interns, dental auxiliaries, and general dentists can apply for Junior Prosthodontics Olympics award, while postgraduate residents and specialists can apply to Senior Prosthodontics Olympics award.

Team Rules:

Team must be submitted by the team leader.
Team must be submitted via the online portal only.
Team members could not be changed after submission.
If the team leader chooses an irrelevant category, the Committee may ask the team leader to resubmit to the accurate category.
Submitting the same team member by two different teams will cause excluding of both.

Awards:

1st place: 5000 SR.
2nd place: 3000SR.
3rd place: 2000 SR.

Important dates for Prosthodontics Olympics Awards Team submission:

Team Submission Deadline: August 9th, 2025.
Notification via email: Within 4 weeks from submission deadline
Pre-Prosthodontics Olympics Qualification Date: Early August 2025. If you have not received a notification by 18th of August 2025, please contact us on info@prosthodontics.org.sa
For any withdrawals, the team leader should notify the organizer as soon as possible, minimum 1 month prior to the Pre-Prosthodontics Olympics Qualification.
